Dodge Viper 2012 Price Acceleration Features Exterior Interior Suspension and Review

Wednesday, March 2, 2011

Performance Characteristics
The Dodge Viper is an all American sports car of high caliber, with exceptional levels of performance. The new 2012 Viper’s engine is better than it ever has been. The large V10 engine is one of this vehicle’s most desirable features. The Viper’s 8.3-liter, 505 cubic inch V10 engine puts out an impressively powerful five-hundred horsepower at 5,600 revolutions per minute. The engine also generates 525lb.-ft of torque. Dodge’s engineers and designers also redesigned the new Viper’s level of frame stiffness, allowing the car to handle better and ride quieter than earlier models. The 2012 is scheduled to be released in 2012, with no confirmed, more specific, date.

Standard Features

The standard features on the new Viper are extensive. The suspension is front wheel independent with a rear stabilizer bar. The Viper will come standard with many basic features, including: air condition, reading lights, an adjustable leather steering wheel and shift knob, power steering and adjustable petals, a remote trunk release, a front console, power locks, power windows, power mirrors, bucket seats, alloy rims and a rear window defogger. However, the most impressive feature of this vehicle remains its impressive engine and six speed transmission.

Safety Features

The safety features included on Dodge’s 2012 Viper model have not been significantly altered from the previous models. The safety features include: front and back ABS disc brakes, child seat anchors, emergency trunk release, airbags, xenon high intensity discharge headlights and front fog lamps.

Competition to the 2012 Dodge Viper
If you are considering making a purchase of the new 2012 Dodge Viper, then some other vehicles you could consider in a similar class include: the Acura RSX, the Audi TT, the BMW M3 or M5, and the Mercedes Benz CLK class. These models are comparable to the Viper in price, performance and luxury. However, if horsepower is your top priority than few vehicles compare–that are listed around the same price.
